Garfield’s Roots commissioned for Pittsburgh, PA

Garfield’s Roots is a commissioned reimagining of the iron tree grates along Pittsburgh’s Penn Avenue as part of the area’s renewal. Working in cooperation with Loysen-Kreuthmeier Architects and the City of Pittsburgh, the artist created Garfield’s Roots, a site-specific commission of 32 iron works that surround each of the avenue’s newly planted trees.
