Invitational Exhibition in CA — September 4 - October 25, 2008
Natalie Settles has been invited to show work alongside Asbjørn Hollerud and Pavel Romaniko in a complementary exhibit to Martha Ensign Johnson's solo exhibition entitled Language Skills: The Art of the Expanded Print at the Reynolds Gallery on the Westmont College campus in Santa Barbara, CA. Ms. Ensign Johnson selected Settles, Hollerud and Romaniko as proteges who use printed elements as a type of language in their wide-ranging work. The exhibition is curated by the distinguished Judy Larson, Director of the Reynolds Gallery, and former director of the National Museum of Women in the Arts.The public is welcome to the opening reception for the exhibition held on September 4, from 4pm - 6pm. Regular gallery hours for the exhibition will be Monday - Friday 10 am - 4 pm and Saturday 11 am - 5 pm. The gallery is closed on college holidays. Come for a fascinating look at the language of modern prints.
